AIKEN, S.C. - The USC Aiken women's tennis team picked up its first Peach Belt Conference victory of the 2010 season with an 8-1 win over league newcomer Montevallo on Saturday morning at the USC Aiken Tennis Complex.
The victory was USC Aiken's third straight and second in as many days. The Pacers are now 5-5 overall on the 2010 season. USC Aiken is 1-3 in the PBC.
USC Aiken easily earned the doubles overall win at 3-0 before taking all but one of the singles matches. Every Pacer match won was in straight sets.
USC Aiken now has 13 days off before welcoming league foe Montevallo the USC Aiken Tennis Complex for its next match on March 19.
