AIKEN, S.C.--USC Aiken's women's tennis team, ranked 25th in NCAA Division II, beat North Greenville College, 7-2, today at the USCA Tennis Complex in Aiken, S.C. The Lady Pacers improved to 14-7 on the season while NGC fell to 1-9 overall.

USCA opened by winning two of the three doubles matches. Otavia Bastos and Nicole Copp downed Rebecca Cooper and Caitlyn Whitted, 8-0, at number two doubles while Kerry Donovan and Elly Toth took care of Lori Crenshaw and Krystal Tucker, 8-0, at number three doubles.

North Greenville won the number one singles match when Teresita Mariani beat Dominique Cassetori, 6-4 and 6-0, but it was all USC Aiken the rest of the way. 

Copp and Donovan each lost just one game on their way to straight set victories at number three and four singles. Bastos and Toth didn't lose a single game while posting wins at number five and six singles.

The Lady Pacers will step back into Peach Belt Conference play on Sunday when they travel to face Clayton College & State University in Morrow, Ga. The match is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
