AIKEN, S.C.--USC Aiken's women's tennis team, ranked 25th in NCAA Division II, shutout Queens University of Charlotte, 9-0, tonight at the USC Aiken Tennis Complex in Aiken, S.C. In singles, four Lady Pacers lost two or less games while defeating their opponents in straight sets. USCA improves to 13-7 on the season. Queens drops to 15-8 overall.

Nicole Copp, Kerry Donovan and Elly Toth each lost just two games on their way to straight set victories in number two, four and six singles. Toth won her team-best 15th singles match on the season, to go along with a mere three losses.

Otavia Bastos lost only one game in defeating Kelly Bryant, 6-0 and 6-1, at number five singles.

The Lady Pacers will be back in action on Saturday for a non-conference match with North Greenville College in Aiken. The action at the USCA Tennis Complex is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
