AIKEN, S.C.--USC Aiken's women's tennis team, ranked 35th in NCAA Division II, fell to Erskine College, 7-2, today at the USC Aiken Tennis Complex in Aiken, S.C. The Flying Fleet improved to 4-0 on the season, their first three wins were all 9-0 shutouts. The Lady Pacers drop to 1-1 on the season.
Freshman
Kerry Donovan (Lexington, S.C.) and sophomore
Elly Toth (Minneapolis, Minn.) did all the damage for USCA.
Donovan won in straight sets over Chrissy Taylor, 6-2 and 6-4, in number four singles. Toth beat Miroslava Stojkovic in number six singles, 6-2, 4-6 and 11-9.
The Lady Pacers will return to action on Friday when they travel to Wilson, N.C., to face Barton College beginning at 3:00 p.m.
