Box Score AIKEN, S.C.--USC Aiken's men's soccer team fell to the University of North Florida today, 5-1, at "Pacer Pit" on the USCA campus. The Ospreys (3-3-0, 1-0-0 PBC) scored four times in the second period to break open a 1-1 game. Facundo Videla scored twice for North Florida. Andre Joseph scored the only goal for the Pacers (4-3-2, 0-2-0 PBC).

Martin Pettersson gave UNF an early lead when he beat USC Aiken goalkeeper Marcos Rodriguez 12:45 into the game. Terry Peak assisted on the goal. Joseph scored an unassisted goal at the 35:28 mark and the game remained knotted at one the rest of the period.

Facundo scored for the first time 12 minutes into the second period. Two goals, one by Peak off of a penalty kick and another by Facundo, in less than a minute allowed the Ospreys to put the game out of reach. 

Nick Rodgers ended the scoring and set the final score at 5-1 with a goal in the final minute of play.

North Florida out-shot the Pacers 21-7 and held a 5-4 advantage in corner kicks. Pettersson led UNF with five shot attempts. Emmanuel Maduka attempted a team high three shots for USCA.

The Pacers will step out of Peach Belt Conference play on Wednesday when they host Saint Andrews Presbyterian College at "Pacer Pit" beginning at 4:00 p.m.
