AIKEN, S.C.--USC Aiken's men's tennis team defeated Tusculum College, 6-3, today at the USC Aiken Tennis Complex in Aiken, S.C. The Pacers won two of three doubles matches and then downed the Pioneers in four of the six singles matches. USCA improves to 7-4 on the season while TC drops to 6-2 overall. 

Harshit Sharma and Carlos Huerta set the tone of the match by winning the number one doubles match, 8-2, over the Tusculum College duo of Roberto Robles and Jesse Puckerin. Sharma also swept through the number one singles match, 6-0 and 6-0, over Pedro Galavis.

Three of the six singles matches went three sets with USC Aiken winning one of those. Pierre Negri came from behind to beat Robles in the number two singles match, 4-6, 6-1 and 6-3. Huerta lost just two games on his way to defeating Julien Jacob, 6-2 and 6-0, in the number six singles match.

USC Aiken's match scheduled for Tuesday against Presbyterian College in Clinton, S.C., has been postponed until April 13. The Pacers will return to action on Friday when they host NCAA Division I University of Buffalo beginning at 12:00 p.m.
