AIKEN, S.C.--USC Aiken's women's tennis team posted its third straight win by beating Wingate University, 9-0, on Monday in Wingate, N.C. The Lady Pacers improve to 3-4 overall while the Lady Bulldogs drop to 0-2.
Mayra Kaefer defeated Alexis McDaniel in number two singles action, 6-0 and 6-0. After falling in the first set of the number three singles match,
Nicole Copp fought back and downed Courtney Luce, 4-6, 7-6 (7-4), 10-7.
Kaefer also teamed with
Otavia Bastos to win the number one doubles match, 8-6, over Erin Donovan and Luce.Â
The Lady Pacer tennis team will be back in action Wednesday when they travel to face Presbyterian College, in Clinton, S.C., beginning at 2:00 p.m.Â
