AIKEN, S.C.--USC Aiken's men's tennis team, ranked 32nd in NCAA Division II, picked up one victory this past weekend against two defeats. The Pacers moved to 2-2 on the season and 0-1 in Peach Belt Conference play. On Sunday, although the Pacers lost the match to Armstrong Atlantic State, the USCA doubles team of Nicolas Lombardo and Carlos Huerta defeated Robert Jendelun and Dale White, the number one doubles team in NCAA Division II, 9-7. 

On Friday USCA fell to 33rd ranked Barton College (3-0) by a score of 5-4 in Wilson, N.C. On Saturday the Pacers picked up win number two this season by beating #28 Mount Olive College (0-3), 7-2, in Mount Olive, N.C. USC Aiken finished the weekend falling to 12th ranked Armstrong Atlantic State University (4-0, 1-0 PBC), 8-1, in Savannah, Ga. 

The Pacers will return to action Tuesday for their first home match of the 2005 season. USCA will host 23rd ranked Francis Marion University beginning at 2:30 p.m.
