Box Score THOMASVILLE, GA.--Three first half goals powered Thomas University (7-8-2) to a 4-0 win over USC Aiken (5-10-2) on Friday evening in men's non-conference soccer action in Thomasville, Ga. After starting the season 5-3-2, it was the seventh-straight loss for the Pacers as they close out the regular season and prepare for the PBC Tournament. 

George Fenwick scored the eventual game winner just seven minutes into the match as he finished off a cross from Martin O'Riordan. Josh Bruno made it 2-0 in the 19th minute as he headed in another O'Riordan cross. Nicola Agatanovic made it 3-0 in favor of Thomas in the 32nd minute. 

In the second half, USC Aiken's defense shut down the Thomas offensive attack allowing just one marker in the 66th minute by Bruno on a breakaway. 

Wacey Benjamin, Andre Joseph, and Emmanuel Maduka combined to tally the three shots for USC Aiken in the match. Thomas totaled 13 including eight on goal. 

In net Michael Frost did not record a save in the shut out win. 

For USCA, Marcos Rodriguez allowed three goals making one save in 45 minutes of action. Zac Van Frank stopped three shots giving up one goal over the final 45 minutes in relief. 

USC Aiken will enter next week's 2004 Peach Belt Conference Tournament as the number seven seed and will meet second-seeded and 19th ranked USC Upstate on Tuesday, November 2 in Spartanburg, S.C. at 7:00 PM. In their only meeting earlier this season, the Spartans defeated the Pacers 7-1 in Aiken. It was nearly two years ago to the day, however, when USCA pulled the biggest upset in PBC Tournament history with a 2-1 stunner at #7 North Florida in Jacksonville.
