SAVANNAH, GA--USC Aiken fell to number nine Armstrong Atlantic State University, 6-3, yesterday in Savannah, Ga. The Pacers fall to 8-6 overall and 1-5 in the Peach Belt Conference. AASU improves to 8-9 on the season and 4-3 in league play.
Kiril Popov downed Dale White in the number one singles match by a score of 1-6, 7-5 and 6-3.
Harshit Sharma won the number two singles match over David Secker, 6-4 and 6-2.
Nicolas Lombardo accounted for the third USCA win by defeating Jonas Askeland, 6-4 and 6-2, in the number four singles match.
The Pacers will return to action on Thursday when they travel to Jacksonville, Fla., for the 2003 PBC Championships.Â
