CHARLOTTE, N.C.—USC Aiken's women's tennis team picked up two wins recently.  The Lady Pacers defeated Belmont Abbey College on Wednesday by a score of 9-0 in Charlotte, N.C.  On Sunday, USCA downed Mount Olive College, 5-1, at the North/South Tournament in Wilson, N.C.  The Lady Pacers improve to 3-5 on the season. 
 
Dominique Cassetori and Erika Eles accounted for three of the nine USCA wins against BAC.  Cassetori downed Stephanie Moser in straight sets, 6-1 and 6-2.  Eles defeated Carly Curry by the same score.  The two Lady Pacers teamed up to shutout Moser and Maureen Hayes in number one doubles action by an 8-0 score. 
  
Maria Claudia Romo and Nicole Copp each won their singles matches without losing a single game. 
  
Romo, Copp and Octavia Bastos each won singles matches for USC Aiken against Mount Olive College.  Eles and Cassetori and the duo of Copp and Romo took the number one and number two doubles matches.  The lone win by MOC came from the team of Mariana Shimoda and Donnarie Mills who defeated Bastos and Heather Thornton, 8-2, in doubles play.

USC Aiken will return to action on Wednesday with a trip to Spartanburg, S.C., for a PBC match with USC Spartanburg beginning at 3:00 p.m.
