Box Score CLINTON, SC--USC Aiken pitching gave up 14 runs on 18 hits as the Presbyterian College Blue Hose (2-3) slugged out a 14-8 upset win over the 19th ranked Pacers (4-3) in non-conference baseball action Tuesday afternoon at the PC Baseball Complex. USCA managed 14 hits of its own, but it was not enough as they fall for the second straight game.
PC jumped on starter
Paul Ferrell (0-1) with two in the first and three more in the second.
Ferrell allowed five runs, all earned, on seven hits in 1.0 inning of work in the loss.
Leroy Walker's sacrifice fly in the top of the second scored
Demetrick Drumming for the Pacers to break the ice, but by the end of the fourth, they trailed 10-1.
The big inning for the Blue Hose was the fourth when they plated five runs after
Jerod Summer had retired the first two batters of the inning.
Tombo Hite led PC with a 4-for-4 day including a home run, a triple, and a single to go with three RBI and four runs scored.
Kevin White was 2-for-5 with four RBI while
Joseph Bishop added three RBI on a three-run homer.
Justin Williams led the Pacers going 3-for-5 with two RBI.
Drumming hit his second home run in as many games.

Adam Strongman, and
Mike Cunningham each chipped in two hits for USCA.
On the mound,
Richard Barkley (1-1) held the potent Pacer offense at bay for seven strong innings. He scattered seven hits, surrendering three runs, one earned, striking out seven and not allowing a walk.
Jake Lunnen and
Matt Boone were shaky in relief, however, allowing five earned runs on seven hits over the final 2.0 innings.
USC Aiken will travel to Milledgeville, GA this Saturday and Sunday, February 15-16 for a key Peach Belt Conference showdown with #13 Georgia College & State.
