AIKEN, SC--Plamen Peev's goal with 1:45 remaining in the match lifted the USC Aiken Pacers (9-7-0) to a 2-1 win over Morehouse College (3-3-0) in non-conference men's soccer action on Monday evening in Aiken, SC. The Pacers conducted "Senior Night" and honored eight players in halftime festivities.

Paul Okumu got the Pacers on the board early with his second goal of the season just 3:44 into the match. Senior
Mark Turner served a beautiful cross from the left side finding
Okumu who headed it past Maroon Tiger goalkeeper
Kasumu Sillah.
Turner also assisted on
Peev's game winning goal to up his all-time USCA assist mark to 25 in his three-year career.
Despite being In control for much of the first half,
McColm Cephas used his superior speed to get in behind the USCA defense and rocket a left-footed shot past a diving
Peter Calabrese to knot the contest at 1-1 in the 32nd minute of play.
Calabrese and
Jean-Pascal Bozso each worked one-half in net for the Pacers combining to make three saves on 10 Morehouse College shots.
At halftime, sixth-year USCA head coach
Ike Ofoje said farewell to the following eight seniors:
