Box Score AIKEN, S.C. – The USC-Aiken men's soccer team dropped a 4-2 contest to Coker on Saturday in Aiken, S.C.
The first half was very quiet, in which there was only five shots and one goal scored by the Cobras Conor Troy at the 26:07 minute.
It was like two different teams came out in the second half, in which 13 shots were taken and five goals scored.
Coker started quick, only 1:31 into the half, with Troy grabbing his second goal of the day assisted by Edward Cerrone (46:31). Then, the Cobras went up 3-0 on a breakaway goal from Cerrone assisted by Astgood Blake (57:31).
The Pacers bounced back with
Danny King scoring his second career goal in the last two games assisted by
James Horton (71:28). Thirteen seconds later senior
Zach Craddock assisted senior
Eric Mora for a breakaway goal (71:41) to close the gap to a 3-2 Cobra lead.
In less than a minute the Cobras secured the win as Boyd Bauder connected on a goal to extend lead to 4-2 (assisted by Jason Schwab). For the game, both teams were even with nine shots.
