AIKEN, S.C. – USCA men’s basketball standout Jalen McCoy has been named the South Carolina Education Lottery Student-Athlete of the Month for November.

McCoy, a redshirt-senior from Raleigh, N.C. guided the Pacers to a 4-2 month as well as a No. 11 national ranking.

He leads the team with 22.3 points per game. McCoy has drained 59.8 percent of his shots from the floor, including 50.0 percent from downtown.

In the season-opening victory at UNC Pembroke, he poured in a season-high 34 points. After adding 18 in the victory over Catawba, McCoy notched 20-point efforts in victories over Washington Adventist and Emmanuel before garnering 29 at Fayetteville State.

McCoy tallied a season-high seven rebounds against the Lions and Broncos while distributing a season-best five assists against Emmanuel.

The South Carolina Education Lottery USCA Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Month award honors one student-athlete each month from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort. Each month during the 2024-25 athletic year one winner will be chosen from an in-season sport.
