AIKEN, S.C. – The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Student-Athlete of the Week is men's basketball standout Jalen McCoy.

McCoy, a native of Raleigh, N.C., led the Pacers to a 2-0 week.

In the come-from-behind win over Flagler, McCoy led the way with a 23-point performance. He drained 10-of-18 from the floor and hit three-of-four from the charity stripe. McCoy also added two blocks in the win. In the victory, McCoy scored his 1,000^th career point.

At Augusta, the standout matched his previous game-best effort with 23 points on 10-of-13 shooting from the floor. He made three-of-five from the charity stripe. In the win, McCoy had two assists and a block.

For the week, he averaged 23 points, five rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.0 assists a game.
