AIKEN, S.C. - University of South Carolina Aiken men’s soccer standout Jaymee Kambel has been named the Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 4, 2021.

Kambel, a 6-0 junior midfielder, guided the Pacers to a 1-0 week in the team’s lone contest.

He dished out an assist, knotting the match against Newberry at 1-1. In the second half, Kambel recorded two goals for the 3-1 victory.

His two goals and one assist guided USC Aiken to its first season-opening victory since the 2011 season.

The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
