University of South Carolina Aiken men’s basketball standout Faison Brock has been named the Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 14, 2018.

Brock is a sophomore from Raleigh, N.C.

He guided the Pacers to a 2-0 week with wins at Flagler and at Clayton State. For the week, Brock led the way by averaging 17 points and eight rebounds per game – both tops on the team. He buried 14-of-23 from the floor and four-of-five from the charity stripe.

In the 20-point win at Flagler, Brock canned seven-of-10 from the floor. He scored 15 points, grabbed seven rebounds and had two assists in the win over the Saints.

Brock scored a team-high 19 points in the win at Clayton State. He canned seven-of-13 from the field and also snagged a team-best nine rebounds. Brock added a pair of steals in 36 minutes of work.

The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
