University of South Carolina Aiken men’s basketball standout Robert Hill has been named the Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Dec. 17, 2017.

Hill is a sophomore from Lilburn, Ga.

In the team’s lone game of the week, Hill had a tremendous outing. While playing just 23 minutes, he accounted for eight points, seven rebounds and a career-high seven blocks.

Hill hit four-of-six shots from the floor and added a steal in the hard fought contest against Clayton State.

His seven rebounds marked a season high while his seven blocks eclipsed his career high of six a year ago in the win over Flagler.    

The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
