University of South Carolina Aiken men’s basketball standout Markus Terry has been named the Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 7, 2018.

Terry is a redshirt-senior from Atlanta, Ga.

In the win over league-leading Francis Marion, he registered his second straight 20-plus point game with a 24-point performance. Terry connected on eight-of-15 shots from the floor, including two-of-five from downtown. He also snagged seven rebounds.

Against North Georgia, he posted a double-digit effort with 11 points. Terry added two rebounds and an assist in the last-second loss.  

The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
