AIKEN, S.C. - The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USCA Student-Athlete of the Week is women's cross country standout Linah Ewoi.

A native of Kapkarwa, Kenya, the sophomore newcomer shattered the school record at the Queen City Invite Friday evening.

Ewoi helped the Pacers take 10^th place in a loaded field of 26 teams.

During just her second race as a Pacer, Ewoi registered a time of 19:08.5, which was good enough for 33^rdplace that comprised several Division I teams.

Ewoi's time also bested the school record of 19:11.4, which was established by Alaynah Guthrie at the Sand Shark Invitational in 2025.

The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USCA Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Week honors one student-athlete each week from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
