AUGUSTA, Ga. – The USCA women's cross country team is picked sixth in the PBC Preseason Coaches Poll, which was announced Tuesday.
The Pacers tallied 52 points in the poll. Flagler earned 10 first-place votes and is picked to win the league with 100 points. Augusta is second with 88 points. North Georgia (80 points), GCSU (77 points) and Lander (60 points) are third through fifth, respectively. Columbus State (44 points), Clayton State (41 points), USC Beaufort (29 points), Middle Georgia (19 points) and Georgia Southwestern (15 points) are seventh through 11
th, respectively.
Head coach
Jim Sprecher's team finished eighth at the PBC Championship a season ago.

Sprecher's team opens the season at the Converse Kick-Off on Friday, Sept. 4.
