Alli Bishop and
Madison Fox were recognized for their outstanding performances by the PBC on Monday.
Bishop garnered PBC Player of the Week accolades while Fox was named PBC Setter of the Week, as announced by the league office. The duo guided the Pacers to a 3-0 week.
A native of Chesterfield, Mo., Bishop posted a pair of double-double efforts to go along with a career high for kills during the Coker Cobra Classic. Against Valdosta State, she led the way with 13 kills and 10 digs for her first career double-double. She also chipped in three blocks. In the sweep of Saint Leo, Bishop erupted for a career-high 15 kills while hitting .400. She also notched eight digs. In the final match of the weekend, Bishop garnered a double-double with 11 kills and 10 digs. She was also in on four blocks and was named Coker Cobra Classic Tournament MVP.
Fox, a native of Mooresville, N.C., had a tremendous week. The junior turned in a pair of double-doubles at the Coker Cobra Classic. In the sweep of VSU, she had 17 assists, seven digs and a kill. Against the Lions, Fox posted 12 assists and 12 digs and hit .500 with a pair of kills. In the weekend finale against the Patriots, Fox dished out 18 assists and registered 12 digs. She also had a kill and an ace in the four-set victory.
