Mitchell McNeill Named Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar

NORMAN, Okla. – USCA standout Mitchell McNeill has been named a Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar by the GCAA.

McNeill, a native of North Augusta, S.C., garnered second-team all-league efforts. During the 2025-26 season, he had five top-10 finishes, including a third-place effort at the Savannah Lakes Men's Fall Invitational and the Spring Bulldog Clash. McNeill was seventh at the Wexford Invitational, eighth at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate and at the PBC Championship. McNeill posted a career-best 72.29 stroke average in 35 rounds.

To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate's degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 78.0 in NCAA Division II, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
