INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The USCA baseball team is one of 10 teams listed in the first of three NCAA Division II Southeast Region rankings, which were released Wednesday.
The first poll is listed alphabetically, but the next two will be ranked No. 1-10.
USCA (33-13 overall, 33-13 in-region record) is one of three PBC teams ranked in the top 10. Flagler (30-14, 26-14) and North Georgia (35-11, 35-11) are listed in the initial rankings.
Other teams listed are Belmont Abbey (33-11, 33-11), Catawba (35-8, 35-8), Francis Marion (37-9, 37-9), Lenoir-Rhyne (32-10-1, 32-10-1), North Greenville (40-7, 39-7), Wingate (32-14, 31-14), and Young Harris (33-13, 33-13).
Records are through games played Sunday, Apr. 19.
The NCAA regional rankings are the official rankings used by the committee to select the national tournament field.
