AUGUSTA, Ga. – USCA golf standouts
Mitchell McNeill and
Ian Williams have been named to the all-conference team, as announced by the PBC office Friday.
McNeill, a junior from North Augusta, S.C., is No. 62 in the latest national rankings. He carries an adjusted scoring average of 71.5 on the season and has a pair of top-three finishes. At the season-opening Savannah Lakes Men's Fall Invitational, he shot six-under par to finish third out of 96 student-athletes. McNeill also placed third out of 102 student-athletes at the Spring Bulldog Clash at two-over par. He has two more top-10 finishes on the season, having placed seventh at the Wofford Intercollegiate and eighth at the 29
th Annual Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate.
Williams, a junior from Cary, N.C., is No. 59 in the latest national rankings. He sports a 71.5 adjusted scoring average on the season and has three top-10 efforts as well as two more top-20 finishes on the year. Williams placed fourth out of 84 student-athletes at the Curahee Invitational at eight-under par. He snagged eighth place out of 74 student-athletes at the Bobcat Invitational at two-over par. Williams garnered 10
thplace out of 81 student-athletes at the UNG Mizuno Intercollegiate after shooting two-under par. He also snagged 13
th place out of 96 student-athletes at the Jay Jennison Cup after posting a score of three-under par. Williams was 20
th out of 88 student-athletes after shooting one-over par at the Wofford Invitational.
The duo has guided the Pacers to four top-five finishes this semester, including championships at the Spring Bulldog Clash and Wofford Invitational.
