SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The No. 19 USCA golf team vaulted to the top spot at the Wofford Invitational after firing a final round of four-under par, 280.
The Pacers won their second tournament of the season, having also claimed the title at the Spring Bulldog Clash. USCA shot 12-under par, 840, for the tournament. The Pacers bested second-place USF by six strokes while Western Carolina was third at five-under par, 847. Winthrop (-4, 848) and Wofford (-1, 851) also finished under par.

Michael Carlisle's squad was paced by
Karl Frisk's five-under par, 208, for the 54-hole tournament. Frisk shot two-under par, 69, Tuesday. He posted birdies on No. 1, No. 11, No. 14, No. 15, No. 16 and No. 17. Frisk finished third after moving up two positions during the final round.
Cameron Baez finished the tournament at two-under par, 211. He shot four-over par, 75, for the final round of action. Baez accounted for birdies on No. 1, No. 5, No. 7 and No. 14 Tuesday and tied for ninth.
Hugo Boyer wrapped up the event at one-over par, 214. He shot two-over par, 73, for the final 18 holes of action. Boyer notched birdies on No. 6, No. 10 and No. 15 during the final round.
Boyer tied with
Ian Williams for 20
th place at one-over par, 214. Williams climbed 13 spots on Tuesday after shooting two-under par, 69. He registered birdies on No. 1, No. 4, No. 10 and No. 16.
Mitchell McNeill shot seven-over par, 220, for the 54-hole event. He wrapped up the final 18 holes at two-under par, 69. McNeill garnered birdies at No. 5, No. 6, No. 10, No. 12, No. 15 and No. 16 and tied for 38
th.
The tournament championship marked the program's 93
rd since moving to Division II. It also marked the first time the program has won multiple tournament titles since claiming the Camden Collegiate and 7
th Annual UNG Fall Invitational during the 2020-21 season.
