AIKEN, S.C. – The USCA golf team is in fourth place after the first day of competition at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate.
Campbell leads the field at five-under par, 555. Navy stands in second place at four-under par, 556 and UAB is a stroke back at three-under par, 557. The Pacers are fourth at two-under par, 558.
Head coach
Michael Carlisle's squad was paced by
Mitchell McNeill's two-under par, 138. He opened with an even-par, 70, before firing a two-under par, 68, Monday afternoon. McNeill is tied for sixth.
Ian Williams finished a stroke behind McNeill and is tied for 11
th place. Williams opened with a one-over par, 71, before shooting two-under par, 68.
Hugo Boyer is tied for 14
th. He posted scores of 70-71 over the first two rounds of competition.
Karl Frisk shot three-over par, 143. He started with a one-over par, 71, before posting a score of two-over par, 72.
Cameron Baez is tied for 38
th at five-over par, 145. He closed the day by shooting one-under par, 69.
