Autumn Fisher has been named the PBC Player of the Week while standout
Abbie Kegley has been named the PBC Pitcher of the Week.
The duo led the Pacers to a 4-0 week.
Fisher, a sophomore from Inman, Va., went 5-for-12 at the plate. She accounted for six RBI and scored three times in the sweeps of Erskine and Lenoir-Rhyne. Against the Flying Fleet, Fisher drove in a run and scored in the opener. She accounted for a single in the nightcap. Against the Bears, Fisher opened with a single and two walks before posting a three-for-four effort in the series finale. She garnered two home runs, drove in five and scored twice in the 10-5 win.
Kegley, a native of Quinton, Va., went 2-0 on the week with a save. In the opener at Erskine, she tossed a complete game and had five strikeouts in the 4-2 win. In the second game against the Flying Fleet, Kegley entered and worked the final 1.1 innings to get her first career save. She had a pair of strikeouts in the win. Against L-R, Kegley shut down the visitors in a complete-game, 3-0 win. She had 10 strikeouts and allowed just one extra-base hit.
