AUGUSTA, Ga. – USCA has been selected seventh in the PBC Preseason Baseball Poll, which was announced Friday by the league office.
Head coach
Keith Gorman's team picked up 54 total points in the poll. Columbus State was chosen first with 89 points while North Georgia (86 points) and Lander (83 points) round out the top three spots.
Georgia Southwestern (71 points) and GCSU (62 points) were fourth and fifth, respectively. Flagler (58 points) edged the Pacers for the sixth spot.
Augusta (37 points), Middle Georgia (32 points), USC Beaufort (23 points) and Claflin (10 points) conclude the preseason PBC rankings.
Gorman's team opens the season Jan. 30 at home against Mars Hill. First pitch is slated for 4 p.m.
