NORMAN, Okla. – Four USCA student-athletes have been named NCAA Division II Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars.

Michael Carlisle's team was represented by
Oscar Abrahamsson,
Nick Goellner,
Mitchell McNeill and
Erik Olin. This marks the third time Abrahamsson and Olin have garnered the accolade.
Olin led the team with a 71.1 stroke average while playing 35 rounds. He posted a low round of 66. Olin notched four top-five finishes and six top-10 efforts.
Abrahamsson was second on the squad with a 72.1 stroke average. He accounted for a low round of 64 and had a pair of first-place finishes.
Goellner competed in 29 rounds and posted a low round of 65. He tallied two top-five finishes and had a 73.3 stroke average.
McNeill played in 32 rounds and had a low round of 68. He carried a 73.6 stroke average and tallied a pair of top-10 finishes.
To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate's degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 78.0 in NCAA Division II, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
207 NCAA Division II athletes from 78 schools earned 2024-25 Cobalt All-America Scholar honors. Georgia Southwestern, Lander, and Saint Leo led the division with five recipients. 17 other NCAA Division II schools had four recipients, including Anderson (SC), Barton, Colorado Christian, Findlay, Fort Hays State, Harding, Henderson State, Lincoln Memorial, Newberry, Ohio Dominican, Oklahoma Christian, Parkside, Rockhurst, Tiffin, USCA, Valdosta State, and Wayne State (MI).
