AIKEN, S.C. – USCA softball standout Lakyn Phillips has been named to the D2CCA all-region team, which was announced this week.

Phillips, a senior from Lexington, S.C., earned second-team honors.

She led the Pacers with a 16-4 record while sporting a 2.45 ERA. The standout appeared in 25 games while earning 20 starts. She recorded 14 complete games, including one shutout, and posted a save. Phillips fanned 160 batters in 145.2 innings and limited foes to a .237 batting average. 

Phillips ended her career as the school's all-time leader in saves (6). She was second in wins (55) and appearances (122), third in strikeouts (654) and starts (93), fourth in strikeouts per seven innings (7.36), fifth in innings pitched (622.1) and shutouts (13), sixth in lowest opponent batting average (.265) and seventh in complete games (60).
