AIKEN, S.C. – USCA golf standouts
Oscar Abrahamsson and
Erik Olin have been named to the Division II PING all-region team, which was announced this week by the GCAA.
Abrahamsson, a native of Gothenburg, Sweden, accounted for the 12
th-best single-season scoring average in school history at 72.11. He had a low round of 64 on the season. This season, he garnered a pair of first-place efforts, including winning in a play-off at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate. He was a second-team all-PBC performer and took home a pair of PBC Golfer of the Week accolades.
For his career, Abrahamsson posted the fourth-best scoring average in school history at 72.65 over 133 rounds of competition.
Olin, a native of Falsterbo, Sweden, posted the third-lowest single-season scoring average in school history at 71.14. The standout had a low round of 66 on the year. This season, he earned first-team all-PBC honors and was a PBC all-tournament team selection. Olin tallied six top-10 efforts on the season, including five top-five finishes. He took second at the PBC Tournament.
For his career, Olin notched the second-best career scoring average in school history at 71.82 over 100 rounds. He accounted for a low round of 64.
