USCA Ranked Third In Latest NCAA Southeast Region Rankings
AIKEN, S.C. - The USCA men's basketball team is ranked third in the latest NCAA Southeast Region Rankings.
The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
The field for the Southeast Region is comprised of eight teams: the conference tournament champions from the Peach Belt Conference, South Atlantic Conference, and Conference Carolinas, as well as the top five teams in the region rankings who aren't tournament champions.Â
The Peach Belt Conference has three teams ranked in Columbus State (first), USC Aiken (third) and Augusta (fifth).Â
The Pacers compete in the PBC Tournament with a semifinal match-up against No. 6 North Georgia at Columbus State on Saturday. Tip-off is slated for 3:30 p.m.
