AIKEN, S.C. – The No. 11 USCA golf team is set for the upcoming Bearcat Classic March 3-4.
The teams will compete at the Patriot GC at Grand Harbor in Ninety Six, S.C. The event is hosted by Lander.
Head coach
Michael Carlisle's team consists of
Oscar Abrahamsson,
Karl Frisk,
Nick Goellner,
Erik Olin and
Mitchell McNeill. The five are coming off a second-place finish at the Wexford Intercollegiate Feb. 17-18.
At the last tournament, Frisk posted a fifth-place finish, securing PBC Golfer of the Week honors. Abrahamsson and Olin also placed in the top-20 of the event.
Olin leads the team with his 71.3 stroke average. He has a team-low round of 66 on the season and has placed in the top 10 three times, including a top-five effort.
Abrahamsson has a first-place effort to his credit and is tied with Frisk as both sport a 72.1 stroke average. Abrahamsson and Olin have shot par or better 11 times this season while Frisk has reached the mark nine times.
McNeill has a 73.5 stroke average and has a top-10 finish in his six events. He's been at par or better seven times this season.
Goellner has competed in four events and carries a 74.5 stroke average. He has been at par or better three times and has a low round of 71.
