EATONTON, Ga. – The No. 9 USCA golf team is in fourth place after the first day of play at the Bobcat Invitational.
The event, hosted by Georgia College, is being played at Cuscowilla On Lake Oconee.
Head coach
Michael Carlisle's team stands at 11-over par, 571, through the first 36 holes of competition. North Georgia leads the field at five-over par, 565. West Florida is second (566), while Lee is third at nine-over par, 569. USCA shot 285 in the first round before firing a 286 during the second round of play.
Erik Olin stands in fourth place at even-par, 140. He shot even par in each round. Olin is four strokes back of first place.
Nick Goellner is in 21
st place at four-over par, 144. Goellner posted an opening-round 71 before firing a three-over par, 73, Monday afternoon.
Mitchell McNeill is tied for 25
th at five-over par, 145. After opening with a 75, McNeill posted an even-par, 70, for the second round.
Oscar Abrahamsson and
Karl Frisk are tied for 31
st at six-over par, 146.
