AUGUSTA, Ga. – USCA volleyball standout Anna Sommer has been named the PBC Player of the Week, as announced by the league office.

Sommer, a native of St. Louis, Mo., guided the Pacers to a 3-0 week.

In the win over UNC Pembroke, she posted eight kills and four blocks. Sommer added five digs and an assist while hitting .421 in the four-set win.

Sommer upped her game in Friday's sweep of Middle Georgia State with 13 kills and a .619 attack percentage. She had six block assists and a pair of solo blocks while also providing a dig.

Sommer finished her week with a .611 attack percentage in Saturday's victory over the Knights. She posted 12 kills, had three blocks and recorded three digs.

For the week, Sommer had 33 kills, 15 blocks, nine digs and hit .551.
