TOCCOA FALLS, Ga. – The No. 13 USCA golf team recorded a second-place finish at the Currahee Invitational, which wrapped up Tuesday afternoon.
The Pacers finished two-over par, 866.
Head coach
Michael Carlisle's team was led by
Ian Williams' fourth-place finish. He shot three-under par, 69, on the final 18 holes to finish at eight-under par, 208.
Cameron Baez and
Karl Frisk tied for 25
th. They each shot three-over par, 219, for the tournament.
Mitchell McNeill climbed 18 spots after shooting one-under par, 71, Tuesday. He completed the 54-hole event at eight-over par, 224.
Logan Leistner finished the tournament at 10-over par, 226. He was 44
th.
Wingate won the tournament at 21-under par, 843. Lenoir-Rhyne was third (six-over par, 870) while Erskine (seven-over par, 871) and Lincoln Memorial (10-over par, 874) were fourth and fifth, respectively, in the 16-team field.
The Pacers return to action Oct. 18 at the Furman Invitational.
