AIKEN, S.C. – The Hutson-Etherredge Companies and Auto-Owners Insurance USC Aiken Student-Athlete of the Week is men's basketball standout Rhyjon Blackwell.

A native of Baldwin, N.Y., the standout guided the Pacers to a 1-1 week.

For the week, Blackwell averaged 20 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 2.0 assists per game. He canned 10-of-23 from the floor, including seven-of-15 from downtown. Blackwell also buried 13-of-14 from the charity stripe.

Against CIU, he posted 13 points, four boards, four assists and three steals. In the win over GCSU, Blackwell erupted for a career-high 27 points on seven-of-14 shooting, including four-of-nine from downtown. He drained nine-of-10 from the foul line, grabbed a season-high seven boards and registered a career-best three steals.
