AIKEN, S.C. – The No. 13 USCA golf team is set to open the season Sept. 9-10 at the Bearcat Fall Invitational.
The event is hosted by Lander and will take place in McCormick, S.C.

Oscar Abrahamsson,
Karl Frisk,
Nick Goellner,
Mitchell McNeill and
Erik Olin.
All five student-athletes bring an abundance of experience to this year's team. A year ago, Olin led the squad with a 72.0 scoring average. He accounted for a pair of top-five finishes and notched four top-10 efforts. Additionally, his low round of 64 was best on the team.
Abrahamsson's 72.7 scoring average was third on the 2023-24 team. He garnered a victory, added another top-five finish and a third top-10 effort during the year. He, along with Olin, each had 15 rounds of par or better.
Goellner played in five tournaments as a freshman and registered a 73.7 stroke average. He tallied three round of par or better. Goellner's best effort was a low round of 68.
McNeill saw time in five events. He had a 74.7 stroke average in 15 rounds of competition. McNeill accounted for a low round of 70. Overall, he shot par or better five times.
Frisk returns to the lineup this season. During the 2022-23 campaign, Frisk posted a scoring average of 73.2. In nine events, he shot par or better 11 times and sported a low round of 68. Frisk notched a top-five effort and another top-10 finish.
