AIKEN, S.C. – The USCA women's cross country team hits the road for a meet Saturday at the Akiah McMillan Invitational.
Head coach
Marshall Leonard's team is coming off a seventh-place performance at the Queens City Invite. At the race,
Gabrielle Jourdain was one of four student-athletes for USCA to establish personal-best times at the 5k event.
Jourdain's mark of 19:34.48 was the third-fastest time in school history.
Sydney Fallin,
Alaynah Guthrie and
Jenna Couch also notched personal-best marks for their respective efforts.
Ainhoa Colino rounded out the top five competitors for the Pacers at the Queens City Invite.
The field at the Akiah McMillan Invitational includes Allen, Belmont Abbey, Benedict, Claflin, Columbia College, Columbia International, Johnson & Wales, Lander, SCAD, Tusculum, UNC Pembroke, USC Beaufort and UVA Wise.
