CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The USCA women's cross country team finished seventh at the Queens City Invite, which wrapped up Friday evening.
Head coach
Marshall Leonard's team was led by
Gabrielle Jourdain's 5k personal-best mark of 19:34.48, which was good enough for 26
th place.
Sydney Fallin accounted for a personal-best time of 19:53.54, which allowed her to take 30
th. The time marked the third fastest in school history.
Alaynah Guthrie contributed a personal-best mark of 20:13.07 for 34
th place while newcomer
Jenna Couch shattered her personal-best effort with a time of 21:20.87. Couch crossed the finish line in 48
th place.
Anhoa Colino tallied a time of 21:55.96 for 53
rd place.
Emma Cox had a time of 21:59.79 for 56
th while
Bailey Kirkland was one spot behind her with a time of 22:08.06.
Emory won the meet while Davidson and SCAD rounded out the podium.
The Pacers return to action Saturday, Sept. 28 when they compete at the Akiah McMillan Invitational.
