MCCORMICK, S.C. – The No. 13 USCA golf team tied for third at the Bearcat Fall Invitational while standout
Erik Olin recorded a third-place effort Tuesday afternoon.
Head coach
Michael Carlisle's team shot 10-under par, 854, for the 54-hole event. The tournament was hosted by Lander and had 19 teams in the field.
North Georgia won the tournament after carding a 28-under par, 836. West Florida was second after shooting 21-under par, 843. Columbus State shot 10-under par, 854. Lincoln Memorial took fifth with an effort of seven-under par, 857.
Olin shot 10-under par, 206, for his third-place finish. He tallied a one-over par, 73, Tuesday afternoon.
Mitchell McNeill garnered a top-10 effort after shooting four-under par, 212. He went two-over par during his final 18 holes of competition.
Karl Frisk climbed eight spots during the final round of play after shooting one-under par, 71. For the tournament, Frisk notched a score of even-par, 216.
Oscar Abrahamsson finished 50
th with a four-over par, 220.
Nick Goellner took 64
th after shooting seven-over par, 223.
The Pacers return to action Sept. 23-24 at the Mizuno Invitational, which is hosted by the Nighthawks.
