AIKEN, S.C. – USCA, in conjunction with head men's basketball coach
Mark Vanderslice, is excited to announce the 2024-25 schedule.
"We are thrilled about our schedule for this upcoming season," Vanderslice stated. "Every year we want to position our program for conference and postseason play. We believe that by competing against a lineup of tough non-conference opponents we will equip our team with the battle tested experience needed to be fully prepared for our first conference game. There will be no days off this season and I'm really excited for the challenge."
The Pacers, fresh off their second consecutive PBC regular-season title, open the season at region foe UNC Pembroke on Nov. 8. Two days later, Pacer Nation gets to see the squad in action in the Convocation Center for a rare Sunday afternoon contest against Catawba.
USCA remains at home Nov. 14 when it hosts Saint Augustine's before wrapping up the three-game homestand with Emmanuel on Nov. 20.
After playing at Fayetteville State on Nov. 26, the team returns home for three of its next four outings, beginning with Claflin on Nov. 30. Four days later, the squad hosts Livingstone.
After making the trek to Lander to open PBC play on Dec. 7, the Pacers close out the home portion of 2024 against Fayetteville State on Dec. 14. Prior to the holiday break, Vanderslice's team plays at region foe Francis Marion on Dec. 19.
USCA starts 2025 in style with a home contest against Columbia International on Jan. 1. Three days later, the squad returns to PBC play when it hosts Georgia College.
After a midweek trip to Flagler (Jan. 8), the Pacers host Augusta (Jan. 11) and Georgia Southwestern (Jan. 15).
Vanderslice's squad heads to Columbus State on Jan. 18 before entertaining USC Beaufort on Jan. 22 and Clayton State on Jan. 25.
Six of the final 10 regular-season contests are away from the Convocation Center, beginning with a game at North Georgia on Jan. 29. The Pacers begin February with a game at Georgia College (Feb. 1).
After hosting Flagler on Feb. 5, the team makes the trek to Augusta on Feb. 8. A road contest at Georgia Southwestern on Feb. 12 completes the two-game road swing.
USCA hosts Columbus State on Feb. 15 before traveling to USC Beaufort on Feb. 19. Three days later, the team heads to Clayton State for a Saturday afternoon affair.
Vanderslice's squad wraps up the regular season with a pair of home games against UNG (Feb. 26) and Lander (March 1) before taking part in the PBC Tournament March 5-9.
2024-25 Schedule
