AIKEN, S.C. – USCA, in conjunction with head volleyball coach
Glenn Cox, is pleased to announce the signing of six standouts for the upcoming 2024 season.
"We are looking forward to bringing this incredibly talented group of student-athletes on campus," Cox stated. "Each of them bring strong resumes, high volleyball IQ's and many years of open-level club experience that will elevate the level of play for Pacer Volleyball."
The signees include
Chloe Duzenack,
Madison Fox,
Sidney Hogan,
Ana Cate Loftus,
Avery Pearson and
Tabor Scanlon.
Duzenack, a native of Loveland, Colo., is a 5-11 outside hitter. The Thompson Valley H.S., standout guided her team to a pair of state championships and four conference titles. A three-time region champion, Duzenack accounted for 204 kills, 55 blocks and three aces as a junior.
Fox, a native of Mooresville, N.C., attended Lake Norman H.S. The 5-7 setter dished out over 1,000 assists in her career and was a two-time all-conference honoree. She was a NCVBCA Student-Athlete Player Watch List selection her junior season.
Hogan, a native of Saint Louis, Mo., attended Cor Jesu Academy. The 5-7 setter is a seasoned veteran who also spent time at Missouri Baptist and Flagler. Hogan's dished out a career-high 40 assists in a match. She helped the Saints capture the PBC Tournament Championship in 2022 and helped Missouri Baptist to a conference title as well.
Loftus, a native of Powell, Ohio, attended Olentangy Liberty H.S. The 5-10 defensive specialist garnered first-team all-district and first-team all-league honors her senior campaign. Loftus was also tabbed honorable mention all-state as a senior.
Pearson, a native of Wellington, Colo., attended Poudre H.S. The 6-2 middle blocker was a four-time all-conference performer. As a senior, she registered 186 kills, 47 aces and 43 blocks. Pearson also guided her 2022-23 club team to a third-place finish at the national tournament.
Scanlon, a native of Lansing, Kan., attended Lansing H.S. The 5-6 setter is a two-time UKC selection. The all-state tournament honorable mention honoree dished out 10.6 assists a set as a senior. She accounted for 327 digs, 55 aces and 34 kills.
