INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The University of South Carolina Aiken softball team is No. 8 in the latest NCAA Southeast Region Rankings, which were released Wednesday afternoon.

Head coach Jaclin Poole's team is 28-20 on the season heading into the PBC Tournament this weekend.

Wingate sits at No. 1 in the region. The Bulldogs are followed by North Georgia, Francis Marion, Lenoir-Rhyne, Lander, Flagler, Columbus State and USC Aiken. Anderson and Limestone are ninth and 10^th, respectively.

Poole's team split a doubleheader with Wingate at J.H. Satcher Field earlier this season. The Pacers also have three wins over Lander and one win over Anderson and Flagler in the region.
