AUGUSTA, Ga. – The No. 7 University of South Carolina Aiken golf team is tied for third place after the second round of action at the PBC Championship.
The event is being played at Forest Hills Golf Club on the par-72, 7,086-yard course.
Head coach
Michael Carlisle's team is at one-under par, 575, through the first 36 holes. His team is tied with Georgia Southwestern and Lander for third place. North Georgia leads the way at 19-under par, 557, while Columbus State shot 10-under par on Saturday and is now at 11-under par, 565, for second place.
Flagler is sixth at one-over par, 577, while USC Beaufort (+2, 578) and Georgia College & State (+12, 588), round out the field.
Oscar Abrahamsson is the top Pacer at three-under par, 141. He is in ninth place after the second round of action.
Erik Olin is a stroke behind him for 10
th place. Olin's one-under par, 71, marked the team's best round of the day.
Rory McDonald O'Brien and
Jonah Winter are tied for 22
nd at three-over par, 147.
Mitchell McNeill is 26
th at four-over par, 148.
