INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The University of South Carolina Aiken Pacers are listed as a team under consideration with the release of the initial 2024 NCAA Division II Softball Southeast Region rankings.
The teams currently under consideration have not been placed in any rank order at this time. The teams will not be put in a rank order until next Wednesday (Apr. 24). The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Softball Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
The Southeast Region consists of softball programs from the Peach Belt Conference, Conference Carolinas and the South Atlantic Conference.
Entering the week, USC Aiken held a 25-18 in-region record.
Now 27-18, the Pacers return to action Saturday when they host Georgia Southwestern for a three-game series starting at 1 p.m.
