AUGUSTA, Ga. – University of South Carolina Aiken golf standout Rory McDonald O'Brien has been named the PBC Player of the Week, as announced by the league office.

A native of Shrewsbury, England, McDonald O'Brien won the 27^th Annual Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate.

He opened the tournament by shooting one-under par, 69. During the second round, McDonald O'Brien tallied a two-under par, 68. He shot an even-par, 70, on the final day of competition.

His three-under par, 207, topped the other 74 student-athletes. McDonald O'Brien won the tournament by a mere stroke over Daniel Azallion (Virginia Tech) and Joshua Stewart (Davidson).

He guided the Pacers to a second-place finish at the tournament.
