INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The University of South Carolina Aiken men's basketball team earned an at-large bid and the No. 2 seed in the upcoming NCAA Southeast Region Tournament Sunday evening.
The Pacers will square off against seventh-seeded Emmanuel. The tournament will be at top-seeded North Georgia March 16-19.

Mark Vanderslice's team won the PBC regular-season championship after going 14-4 in league play. The Pacers (23-6) square off against the Lions (25-6) for the second time this season. On Nov. 29, USC Aiken bested Emmanuel 67-65 in Franklin Springs, Ga.
The rest of the bracket is set with No. 1 North Georgia hosting No. 8 Wingate. Lincoln Memorial is the No. 3 seed and will face No. 6 Lander. The other match-up in the regional is No. 4 Catawba taking on No. 5 UNC Pembroke.
It marks the second consecutive NCAA Tournament for the program and the third time under Vanderslice. USC Aiken made the NCAA Tournament in 1998, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2019 and 2023. The program advanced to the Elite Eight in 2013 and Final Four in 2014.
The Pacers and Lions match-up this season marks the lone time the programs have ever faced each other.
The tournament will take place in Dahlonega, Ga. More information will follow after a teleconference.
